5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry
Ability to analyze Business Requirements, create functional designs and test the system software.
Must have worked on small to large complex projects that require increased skill in business modeling and requirements definition and also with multiple products/services.
Ability to build functional knowledge in the assigned financial systems and understand how they integrate with other applications or areas within the company.
Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically banking.
Ability to Develop/implement solutions that require analysis and research.
Ability to learn the Business Process flows of Financial software systems
Ability to estimate the work effort for small projects and ensure its successful completion
Proficiency in industry standard software development methodologies
Experience in analyzing business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
Experience in writing test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
Ability to formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Experience in conducting variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests.
Ability to report and review testing results.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to trouble shoot issues and conduct root cause analysis
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both offshore and onsite team members
Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within committed timeframe
Ability to identify documentation gaps and work with senior team members to close the gap
Proactively communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders
Moderate skills with high level of proficiency and willingly share knowledge and expertise to others
Should be resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
