The role is responsible for overseeing day to day fraud management activities. Conducting fraud monitoring of Wirecard merchants using internal and external systems to reduce fraud related losses and fines from inadequate fraud risk management.
You will provide advice to merchants on fraud prevention with tailored rules and plans. You will provide training to customers on the use of Wirecard fraud management tools and assist merchants in chargeback monitoring programs to mitigate losses and scheme sanctions.
Reporting to the Head of Fraud Management, you will conduct regular fraud management reporting and provides early warning to the responsible risk member and sales of any possible transaction risk management threats.
Provide fraud risk assessment and mitigation plans and present in consultation with new merchant business.
Review and update existing fraud rules on a regular basis after merchant goes live.
Will be an expert of FPS (Fraud Prevention Suite) and other external fraud management tools and provide training to internal and external audiences.
Set up transaction monitoring thresholds based on individual business with on-going review and implement remediation actions upon the breach.
Analyse transactions and produce daily reports to the relevant Risk Manager for any abnormal changes in volume and / or breaches of limits.
Monitor chargeback performance and provide early earning of merchant at risk of entering scheme chargeback monitoring programs.
Assist merchant in case of fraud attack and provide follow up action plans.
Support the function to maintain and improve merchant fraud management policies and procedures.
Support Sales on business visit and provide fraud management training upon request
5 years and above relevant experience in business underwriting / financial analysis
Familiar with Payment industry or card acquiring / issuing schemes
Familiar with applicable local regulations across the region
Experience in portfolio management and credit risk reporting
Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Fluent in regional languages
University degree in finance, business or relevant
Able to travel 10% of the time
