Job Description

Provide Functional support for Oracle Fusion Finance modules (AR, AP, FA,CM,GL, Fusion Expenses, Fusion Tax, Intercompany (AGIS), Sub-ledger Accounting, etc)

Investigate and diagnose Incidents, resolve and close whilst keeping users fully informed as to progress

Identifying application/interface issues and escalating them to the appropriate technology (L3) team

Address user queries and ad-hoc requests

Capture, log and coordinate service requests

Resolve service requests in the first line through use of scripts and knowledge articles. Contribute to enhancing knowledge articles

Perform close/cut-off transaction processing

Recommend & implement dept. process improvements & automation opportunities

During critical reporting periods should provide out of hours support in accordance with a pre-agreed shift plan

Be able to Perform business diagnosis, process analysis, and best practices research.

Work closely with customer in resolving operational issues encountered by doing the following:

- Troubleshooting data issues
- Troubleshooting Finance transmission and interface failures
- Resolving technical issues related to interfaces between Oracle and Non Oracle ( Spreadsheets )
- Troubleshooting any configuration/integration issues

SKILLS REQUIRED

Domain Skills:

Good knowledge of Financial domain

Willing to work on financial / accounting applications

Technical Skills:

Ability to work with Finance/Accounting professionals with excellent problem-solving skills

Should be conversant with Month End/ Year End support process.


Soft skills:

Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills

Strong written and spoken communication skills

Ability to acquire, absorb, and apply complex business knowledge to solve problems quickly

Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills
