Required Experience and expertise:
Experience with large Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environment architecture and design required
Experience building LAB environments for Demonstrations
Experience defining a backend infrastructure to support Novartis Calendaring and resource management
Design Experience for PowerShell Scripts required
Design experience for Experience with VMware preferred
Design experience for Microsoft Office Communication Server(OCS) required
High level of knowledge in the area of Exchange product, operational activities and engineering
High level of knowledge in the area of Powershell 2.0/ 3.0 scripting to support the Novartis requirements for resource and mailbox management automation
6-8 years of experience with MS ADS
6-8 years working as a Microsoft Exchange and Outlook support engineer at L3 level and experiences in working with Microsoft Premier support
6-8 years working with a global infrastructure team in the area of Messaging and Directory services.
Ability to provide consultancy in the Exchange/ Directory services area as a subject matter expert for regular operations and projects
Proven track record to work independently and successfully with customers and external vendors
Provide guidance and assist L1 & L2 teams with the resolution of advanced Exchange and Outlook related topics
Contribute to critical knowledge areas within the Novartis customized dedicated O365 Exchange service in the Novartis and Litigation services
Experience in engineering, deploying and supporting Outlook 2007\2010 in L3 and L4 Tier capacities.
Solid understanding supporting & managing the following Technologies:
1. Active Directory Windows 2003, 2008.
2. Group Policy.
3. Desktop environments (Windows XP & Windows 7)
4. Network Technologies and Topologies.
5. Exchange 2007 & Exchange 2010.
6. Expert PowerShell knowledge and experience.
7. Scripting Knowledge in SQL and experience combining tables with Exchange, AD and GDDB our in house system
Office 365\ BPOS experience mandatory (OCS/Lync, Live meeting, Sharepoint knowledge a plus)
Proven skills supporting, operating and improving managing large and complex Messaging environments.
Solid troubleshooting, communications skills and customer focus essential.
