Job Description

Promote environmental awareness within organisation and contribute to ecofriendly culture and sustainable ways of working
Provide support to undertake the day to day related activities of the organisation so as to manage environmental aspects & impacts in accordance with KPIs identified
Provide support to ensure all environmental regulations are met to ensure Air, Water, Noise, Vibration, Solid Wastes and that hazardous/dangerous materials compliance is up to date.
Facilitate compliance with the identified requirements ensure that KHMRTS confirm with environmental procedures and standards
Implement environmental action plans (for compliance and improvement) following audits and incidents.
Execute energy conservation, waste management (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse), Cleanliness, materials conservation, rain water harvesting, indoor-outdoor air quality, greenery development and implement appropriate action plans, internally in KHMRTS and externally with vendors.
Maintain all necessary documentation related to Environment such as Environmental Aspect, Environmental Impact, etc, in consultation with the Manager.
Carry out Internal audit & inspections for ensuring compliance of Environmental Management systems and SOPs
Support the Manager to Develop high level of Environmental awareness Culture, impart high quality of training, and ensure smooth communication and interactions within the company
Maintain environmental procedures, records, share information, and monitor their implementation.
Support the manager in obtaining necessary certification (ISO 14001). Conduct necessary survey regarding any regulation updates and evolutions.
Understand ETP, STP, RO plant/ water, waste disposal operations, hygiene requirements and contribute to team in maintaining & developing internal skills and competencies.
Provide support for Environmental Impact mitigation action for all functions in the company. Manage these action plans effectively with respective divisions.


Experience of 3 -5 yrs, preferably with 2-3 years of experience in implementation of ISO 14001 and environmental audits
Possesses a good interpersonal communication skills
Has team player capabilities regarding strategy and development of culture
Is determined and tenacious
Able to efficiently communicate internally
Has proven ability to perform with minimal supervision
Ability to understand, explain and implement solutions to complex issues to colleagues
Demonstrated ability to learn in new areas of expertise.
Able to be autonomous and rigorous as and when required
