Director/ Senior Director - Program Management

Job Description

Essential Functions :

Own the execution of the Meta data management services and continuously refine the product/ service offerings on Data management
Manage all phases of a program from Initiation to completion including cost, benefits, quality, scope, and schedule
Liaise with various teams and Create Work Breakdown Structures, Project Schedules and Project Timelines for the team
Develop and implement risk mitigation plans
Develop Effective Program documentation
Deliver all programs in line with methodology (managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting)
Ensures delivery of the program within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines.
Coordinates with delivery managers across multiple service delivery towers and project managers to ensure successful completion and coordination of all efforts
Partner with Cross functional teams in understanding business pain points and arrive at appropriate IT and/or Re-engineering solutions
Identify and evaluates alternative solutions to best meet program goals.
Deliver program customer satisfaction and productivity commitments of the program
Monitors progress, provides financial control and ensures quality of the program delivery.
Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and stakeholders
Works cooperatively with and ensures that the Client projects managers clarify specific needs and requirements and keeps client and appropriate Client stakeholders up-to-date on project status throughout process.
Regularly and effectively communicate program and team status throughout the organization levels on progress, issues, and opportunities
Would be responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to address bottle necks and or accelerate the program delivery
Provide reporting and transparency to internal and customer management and steering committees
Drive periodic process review meetings and drive actionables

Requirements

Experience in leading/managing end to end data management and analytics functions would be a must
Good understanding of Financial Analysis - Project costing / Cost-Benefit Analysis
Strong knowledge of MS Office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint ), MS Project and MS Visio preferable
Outstanding communication and presentation skills at all business levels up to executive level
Excellent interpersonal skills
Independent person capable of planning and managing own work.
Ability to drive and maintain adherence to project schedules and budgets
Strong analytical mind, complex and creative thinking as well as concern for accuracy and details
Capacity to understand critical situations, sort urgencies and escalate priorities in a constructive manner
Able to facilitate activities and to involve in their execution if required
Highly Organized
Strong desire to succeed and share success
Results orientated individual with energy and commitment with a high degree of initiative
Strong client presence
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to work with senior stakeholders in delivery, business development, relationship managers, pre-sales and transition teams
Desirable:
Certification in Analytics/ BIG Data/ Data science
Certified in Project Management (PMP/CAPM/CPM etc)
Stints with BD, Transitions, Solutioning and/or Quality is desirable
