Role 1: Director Development
FusionBanking Essence is a modern, state of the art, scalable, J2EE, SOA based universal banking solution that has been deployed by a large number of banks and financial institutions around the globe. It is a multi-channel solution that supports branches, internet banking, ATM and point of sale. Its multi-dimensional data model allows banks to get a holistic 360 degree view of their customers
Managing a team of 20+ developers, to deliver on product roadmap
Designing and developing enterprise class highly scalable mission critical applications
Collaborating with product management, testing and external customers to deliver innovative, highly usable products and modules
Reviewing business requirements and coming up with high level time and cost estimates
Producing technical design and solution approach for new products/modules
Holding technical reviews and product walkthroughs
Representing technology in client meetings
Full ownership and accountability to deliver on agreed upon plans within budget, on schedule and to defined quality standards.
Regular use/reporting of metrics for resource allocation, software defects, productivity, and efficiency.
Ensuring commitments and progress to schedules remain clear, reasonable, and are proactively monitored.
Recruiting new talent and coaching team members to build a world class team
Establishment of performance goals for all team members.
Required Domain Experience
Demonstrated expertise in delivering innovative enterprise-class products
Strong understanding of system architecture, object-oriented design, standard java frameworks and design patterns
15+ years of experience in enterprise SW development, preferably in a distributed team
6+ years of experience as a people manager
6+ years of experience in J2EE, SOA, EAI, Workflow and Web Services technologies.
Strong Platform development experience required
Experience in developing applications using Big Data stack of Spark/storm, Kafka, Zookeeper
Experience in building PAAS on cloud
Must be knowledgeable in at least one of the relational databases (DB2, MS-SQL, Oracle)
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a must
Banking or financial industry experience is a plus

Role2: Engineering Head
Product development & engineering execution
o Work together with the Product Owner to ensure that the team has all the pre-requisites to deliver products effectively; and estimates are realistic for given timelines
o Work closely with the Product Owner and Business Analysts for understanding the products functional and non-functional requirements.
o Ensures that the deliverables meet the defined and expected quality standards, and the team is capable to deliver these qualities
o Track progress through periodic reviews with the engineering team and tracking key KPIs
o Facilitate the adoption of the technologies, architecture, frameworks, methodologies and other company standards throughout the team; To follow longer term strategies vs. short term delivery expectations
o Participate in Architect Board, identify and raise architectural issues that require strong technical consideration
o Identify, track and manage technical dependencies across various product development teams;
o Apply knowledge and experience with an agile development approach to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects and provide the right balance of agility and predictability

o Enhance the technical competence and domain expertise within the engineering team
o Building & retaining world-class engineering teams, with emphasis on technical architecture and product management capabilities
o Lead, mentor, motivate and develop the team members
o Establish incentive and recognition programs and career path options to minimize attrition
o Interact with customers and be the customer advocate, while making sure that companys interests are preserved
o Interact and work closely with senior leadership at banks
o Bring in the culture of Customer First in work prioritization, customer presentations etc.
o Act as a point of contact for the Professional Services, Customer Support teams to support customer implementations, production issues etc.
o To contribute regularly to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements in order to ensure maximum efficiency across the company
o Ability to interact and influence the companys leadership team.
