Bachelors/Masters degree in Mass Communication or allied fields.
4-5 years of professional work experience in designing and executing communication activities, preferably in Education sector.
Skills required as Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and excellent control over English language (Verbal and Written).
Should have flexible approach towards work and ability to collaborate with different teams in a fast paced environment
Has to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Should have basic knowledge of Illustrator/Corel Draw/Photoshop/Indesign will be an added advantage.
Should be able to refine other peoples ideas and come up with new ones to create impactful, customized content for social media.
Experience with Communication/Creative agencies/Vendors will be added advantage.
Participate in growth, estimation and development of overall University communication policy which includes but is not limited to: Communicate, engage and liaise with internal and external communications with stakeholders like staff, students, press media, vendors, agencies, by different modes i.e. meeting in person, emails, telephone conversation etc. and help to accomplish the University Communications strategy.
Coordinate and understand the unlike requirements originating from University Office, Schools, and Centres and assist the concerned department/person-in-charge in executing the project/event to take feedback on effective and efficient communication strategies.
Create, maintain, and archive different project documents, data and other communications related materials i.e. guidelines, policies, data backup, collaterals, merchandises etc.
Participate in growth, assessment, and improvement of overall University communications strategy.
Participate and execute in digital marketing, including search engine optimization /search engine marketing, marketing database, email, social media and various campaigns.
Maintain and track the dynamic pages in the University and its affiliated Schools and Centers. Coordinate the development of new web-pages or websites and should have an understanding of the processes involved in website development in PHP or Word-press.
Build and maintain our social media presence, liaison with the social media agency to track output and to give inputs for the content development.
Field visits will be an important role in the incumbents activities and must be able to take part in them on short notice.
