We re presently looking out for a Deputy Manager/ Manager Purchase for a Japanese company
Procurement of raw material from national and international market.
Development of alternative local source for import Raw materials which helps cost saving.
Planning and Budgeting of purchase functions ,Involving cost Estimation, Contract Negotiation.
Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses.
Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.
Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management.
Development of new vendors.
Conducting trainings for vendors to educate them about company's requirements and help them in improving their performance.
Implementing technologies, processes, policies, and procedures to support the purchasing process (Supplier Relationship Management Plan, direct and oversee the purchasing activities.
Maintain an accurate amount of inventory for everyday use and prevent machine down time.
Implement policies and procedures to keep updating our purchasing department.
Track a monthly budget of all purchases and verify all account codes for each purchase.
Coordinate all activities of inventory and stock transactions.
Resource and negotiate with new vendors.
Comply with all purchasing contracts with new vendors.
Identify and resolve issues with purchasing and inventory errors.
Oversee request for quotes and new vendor requests.
Maintain records of all purchasing documentation and procedure of all actives.
Prepare for all audits and supervise our year-end physical inventory.
Sign and approve all purchase orders and request affiliated with purchasing procedure.
Assign projects and supervise new activities.
Sub Contracting Activities Like Forging , Press ,Plastic and Rubber Parts.
NOTE : Candidates with Forging experience would be an added advantage
