ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing statistical data models to help analyse and solve business problems, help biz in making decisions.
Create, execute and evangelize decision trees and rules for identifying and classifying behavioural and sales data into segment clusters
In depth knowledge and experience of statistical tools, software (R and SAAS) and techniques used for predictive modelling, segmentation and data analysis
Strong working knowledge of data mining techniques, including regression analysis, clustering, decision trees
Lead execution of analytics engagements in various industry verticals by understanding client problems, and developing approach, project planned identifying most suitable techniques/tools.
Provide technical (Analytics) leadership to project teams of various skill sets who are developing analytical solutions to solve clients key business needs
Act and contribute to thought leadership in the space of analytics both within the organization as well as outside
Structure design concepts to create compelling and effective presentations and other visuals that convey solutions and analytical results clearly and effectively to the client
Consult actively with business users to ensure that solutions are tailored to business needs and will support or result in actionable customer strategies
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
3+ years of experience and in-depth understanding of Data modelling, Predictive analytics, Statistical tools applied in business
Advanced Analytics R , Data Science SME, Machine Learning, Statistical Modelling
Understanding of Data management concepts is preferred
Understanding of Predictive modelling & operationalization
Tools and Techniques:
Knowledge of how to read and interpret statistical outputs from statistical analysis packages such as SAS, SPSS, R/Python.
Should have demonstrated experience with senior level presentations and ability to communicate detailed and technical subject matter to non-technical audience. Experience of working in onshore-offshore environment will be a plus.
