Job Description


The Cyber Risk Officer under the direct supervision of the CISO will be responsible for performing the information security risks assessments and manage system security controls, authentication services, and role based software governing access to enterprise infrastructure and facilitating the management of information security risks.


Business :

Information risk management predominantly focuses on the identification of threats, vulnerabilities, risks and associated impact to Ujjivan assets and facilitates decision making on appropriate countermeasures to reduce risk to an acceptable level.
Information risk assessments shall be carried out for all the critical projects / initiatives across Ujjivan that has an impact on information security.
Establishing risk assessment and evaluation criteria.
Defining the process for risk identification and treatment based on confidentiality, integrity and availability attributes associated with the assets.
Identifying risk owners.
Analysing, evaluating and documenting risks.
Defining risk management and risk treatment plans.
Facilitating sign-off and implementation of treatment plans.
Managing and reviewing the residual risks and its levels.
Third Party IT Risk Assessments

Customer :

Keeping customer information safe and secure.

Internal process :

Adhering to information security policy procedure and guidelines. Working on improving internal process for better security and efficiency.

Learning & Performance :

Should continuously work on gaining and improving information security updates on best practices, new threats and countermeasures to secure the Ujjivan information security.

There were many microfinance institutions active in rural India, but very few served... India’s urban population. To bridge this gap, Ujjivan focused on the urban poor. This is a fast growing segment that is relatively new to India’s microfinance industry. Our surveys and interaction with the urban poor show that they are exposed to enormous contingencies and are required to share their meagre resources with neighbors, friends, relatives and colleagues. Hence, there is a tremendous amount of bonding and affinity among them. We have also found that, contrary to popular belief, the urban poor are a stable population.
