Corporate Communication Executive

Job Description

As the executive for communications, The candidate will own three key channels:

1. Connected employees

a. Partner with HR and leadership team to support and advance employee experiences and engagement, as a representative of the marketing team
b. Engage with employees on social media and act as a liaison between the employees and the leadership team; gather and act on meaningful employee feedback
c. Develop content and organize logistics for executive-led town halls, videos and other events
d. Identify relevant communications and employee engagement opportunities and events, and evaluate their effectiveness
e. Publish materials to internal sites/ external websites, and manage broadcast internal E-mail distributions. Manage employee review portals

2. Campus outreach

a. Connect with university placement officers through social media and other communication channels and identify campus branding opportunities
b. Organize tech-talks in campuses. Identify other online initiatives to participate in, so we powerfully communicate our value-proposition to this community of potential graduate hires

3. Experienced hires

a. Identify speaker slots and branding opportunities in reputed events, in the THBS focus areas (Digital transformation, IoT, Integration etc.)
b. Organize periodical meet-ups, expert-series, workshops, etc. to target this community of experienced hires
c. Constantly be on the look-out and implement other effective channels to communicate and reinforce the THBS USP

Despite addressing a diverse target-audience (as captured above), maintain certain thumb-rules as stated below:
Collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels to execute the communication strategy in an effective manner
Develop, implement and maintain new communication channels
Apply standards that promote continuity and consistency across company communications practices
Develop and execute a comprehensive and optimal communications program


Required Skills:

Experience: 2-4 years
Should have prior experience handling both internal & external communication projects as an individual contributor
High professional & work ethic standards
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills; ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
Capable of generating a high degree of respect and trust, building relationships rapidly with the various functions and external organizations
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
Possess good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Active on social media and aware of all the latest trends and techniques
