Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Responsible for building the engineering stack that is the foundation for our products and services
Build whole platform from scratch including new website and native mobile apps
Can lead Ui/UX, SEO/SEM activities
Organized and good at planning and just brilliant in execution
Develop technical aspects of the companys strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
Help management make the correct decisions on technology and their profitability all technology must be used profitably
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
Build quality assurance and data protection processes
Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance. Maintain a rolling budget in line with the technology and development requirements
Use stakeholders feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
Communicate technology strategy to partners and investor
Project planning / management
Leadership ability, to manage a development team and ensure that the team is productive
Strong communication skills
Budget management (development and technology budget)
The CTO must be reliable and intuitive with a strong sense of responsibility
The CTO must have the ability to integrate the technical knowledge with the business requirements with useful insight and advice on the companys specific product line, with firm knowledge of the competitors product line, including future R&D directions for us always ensuring that we are the proverbial one step ahead of the competition.
Computer science degree or the equivalent
Technical planning (robustness, stability, scaling, security, etc)
Experience in Python & Django framework, MongoDB, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS. Working knowledge of building a highly scalable application.
Experience in one or more of the following fields:
Familiar with all the code and stack structures that are listed on the PRD document.
