Desired Experience Range: 4-8 years
Required Technical Skill Set: Cherwell Administration
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):
1. Implementing ITSM Framework using various tools like Cherwell ITSM & also ServiceNow
2. Indepth knowledge in Service Management tools especiall in Cherwell/ServiceNow.
3. Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and pre-released Cherwell Service Management software and ITSM best practices.
4. Develop integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc).
5. Three or more years technical understanding of Cherwell Service Management (CSM).
6. Three or more years experience implementing CSM as a Professional Services Consultant (experience with other ITSM or ERP toolsets will be taken under consideration).
7. Ability to integrate/Migrate with other ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
8. Working knowledge using a report writer such as Crystal Reports or SQL Server Reporting Services Application Development experience (e.g. SDLC, Agile Scrum, etc.)
9. Experience with IT Service Management Process and Tool Configuration and Administration.
10. The incumbent should have a solutioning mindset and should have a good understanding of all the processes and workflows in Cherwell & ServiceNow.
11. Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management and Release Management.
12. Configuring, administering and scripting in the Cherwell/ServiceNow ITSM tool.
13. Working closely with our clients to provide solutions and develop the software to fit those needs.
14. Configuration/customization of the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows.
15. Building service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and
16. tasks using workflows to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing
17. the service.
18. Managing Data Feeds and Loading data in ServiceNow
19. Working on user management/ groups/ roles
20. Managing/Configuring TASK/Incident SLAs in regard to scrubbing breach/reassignment of breached case.
21. Managing CMDB health by using Discovery (or equivalent methods) to support Assets and Configuration.
