Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Handling the entire accounting of purchases for the retail business including provisions, within specified deadlines with accurate reporting in MIS and audit.
Validation of all volume discount claims raised by the company on various vendors as per purchase agreements and schemes.
Detailed variance analysis of Actuals Vs Forecast.
Accurate pricing of orders ensuring zero value leakage.
Preparation of Monthly P&L and Balance sheet for review with the Controllers.
Responsible for timely closure of books for the month with a comprehensive approach of the Financials.
Strengthening the Balance sheet review process with more emphasis on aged items.
Understanding the various stakeholders (Retail/Sales/Planning team) requirements and delivering the requisites on time with total focus on Business.
Inventory Accounting.
Perform costing run prior to book close to ensure the materials are valued correctly at standard price.

Qualification: CA (mandatory)

Preferred Industry: Retail

Experience: 4+ years of experience
