Business Development Manager Chemistry

Job Description

To develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for Organization
Presenting Clients capability as CRO to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails
Responsible for lead generation and related activities, primarily to build the new business portfolio for the business
Responsible for selling pre-clinical services globally to all sectors of research- pharma, agro, biotech etc.
Deliver RFPs on a timely basis, ensuring month wise closure of sales numbers
Cross functional people interaction delivering on business units revenue numbers
Client management
o Managing client visits on site at company
o Attending conferences, managing visits to client sites independently
Proposals and pricing in discussion with the technical team
Pricing negotiations with clients
Presentations and strategy/account planning for the business
Operational support internally to manage billing cycle
International and domestic travel when required for business purpose


We are looking at a professional with about 10+ years experience in Business Development with the below specifications

1) Experience in CRAMs(Contract Research and Manufacturing) / CRO Business Development
2) Experience in Services Sales
3) Knowledge of Chemistry / Small molecule business Development
