Lead a region for the Corporate Sector by providing high-quality functional support to the stakeholders and the analytical community with the objective of achieving service excellence.
Stakeholder Management: Actively engage with diverse stakeholders, manage day-to-day process, contribute to strategic initiatives and support Senior Management in implementing them.
Subject Matter Expert: Play the role of a SME and drive a team of people with the aim of providing and nurturing subject expertise in sector, policy, and region-specific policies and procedures.
Quality Control & Guidance: Provide guidance and governance around quality control to ensure high quality credit submissions.
Resource Management: Optimally manage human resources; guide and mentor team members.
Risk and Control: Foster a culture of compliance amongst the team and manage elements of Operational Risk.
Active management of team members, maintaining productivity of the team, capacity planning and optimal allocation of work flow, hiring and recruitment will also need to be managed.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience
Highly customer oriented and interested in providing top quality customer service.
Strong people management, people development and stakeholder management experience.
Strong knowledge of the domain - Corporate sector and sub-segments within the sector.
Demonstrated ability to weave sectoral knowledge, credit policies and ongoing external events into a credit proposal.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; strong ability to portray a macro view and also an eye for detail.
Candidate needs to have knowledge of credit systems and banking products. Must have a good understanding of end-to-end credit process and systems such as CfB, CfC, LEM, HUB, etc.
The ability and orientation to innovate and implement initiatives.
Minimum: Post Graduation in Management, Finance, Economics or equivalent such as a Chartered Accountant would be preferred. Candidates with CFA and other risk management qualifications will be an added advantage.
Candidates current/past profiles should have involved extensive interactions with diverse stakeholders.
Around 9-10 years of work experience of which at least 7 years of relevant work experience in Credit Analysis, Research, Corporate Banking backed by demonstrated analytical expertise and team management skills.
