Role Purpose(overall high level summary of the role)
Risk Analytics Team provides analytics support to various group businesses and functions. Typical deliverables include data analysis, providing analytics insights, model development, validation, calibration, strategy development, monitoring and reporting, information management and business intelligence. The deliverables form the basis for strategic planning by the senior management for businesses and enables effective decision making to satisfy business needs and requirements along with addressing unforeseen challenges.
The Business Intelligence team with in Risk Analytics supports Wholesale portfolio analysis and regulatory reporting &monitoring, produce reports for Risk Management Committee and Board meetings. It also monitors the credit quality, identifies, measures and controls credit risk throughout the institution by participating in various credit risk projects and initiatives. It covers Wholesale portfolio analytica across regions. Apart from being responsible for the above analytics activities, the incumbent would also lead a team of 13-14 analysts enaged into Portfolio analytics & BI work.

Maintain equipment, systems and general work environment in good condition, adhering to all appropriate procedures.
Ensure compliance to core standards of behavior.
Drive portfolio analysis and monitoring projects for Wholesale credit risk that help business to drive business benefits.
Consistently maintain a high level of customer service by achieving established SLAs.
Producedashboards, reporting trends and highlighting areas of concern.
Develop and maintain management information systems as per requirement from business.
Understand business requirement and analyze historic data to provide valuable insight pertaining to the requirement, which should help the business to take right decision.
Able to adhere to the governance framework
Track and monitor Key Portfolio and product performance indicators in the form of automated MI packs to provide snapshot picture of the business to senior management.
Pro-actively identify, propose and implement best practices of different regions to ensure business is taking the right decision towards achieving strategic goals.
Develop an understanding of business requirement for North America Wholesale business.
Assist the credit and the wholesale business by providing accurate and useful risk management tools.
