Job Description

Facilitate student learning through research led teaching and effective instructions by developing course curriculum, course handouts, lectures, labs and presentations.
Perform evaluations of student learning for all assigned classes, using each courses standard course outline as a guide and play a significant role in reviewing of modules and programs.
Develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching
Accept and ensure the completion of the assigned workload within stipulated timelines
Participate in department faculty meetings and serve in departmental administrative positions and committees
Apply appropriate multiple assessment tools and strategies to evaluate and promote the continuous intellectual development of the students by assigning reasonable assignments and homework to students as per university rules
To evaluate students performances in an objective, fair and timely manner and record and report timely results of quizzes, assignments, mid- and final semester exams
To use student assessment data to guide changes in instruction and practice, and to improve student learning
Internship & Industrial Liasioning
Schedule and conduct on-site clinical, internship, observation, field experience and similar settings as appropriate for the course for the students
Planning and supervising field trips
Sports and Extra Curricular Activities
Encouraging and participating in sports and other activities organized at University / Faculty level also ensuring the engagement of students in all such activities
Mentor Mentee Program
Drive the Mentor Mentee program within the department
Be available to the students via email, phone, or personal conferences. The method of contact and hours of availability should be clearly communicated to supervisors and students
Act as a personal tutor for students, and support them in maximizing the benefit of their time in SGT
Collecting, organizing and analyzing the data of alumni students
Developing, maintaining & promoting alumni networks / relationships by collaborating and connecting with students
To take an active interest and participate in all parts of the admissions process
To ensure that enquiries from applicants and prospective applicants are dealt with in a timely and informative manner
To pursue, develop and lead research, innovation and impact at an appropriately benchmarked level
