Job Description

This position is responsible for providing support to North American based Human Capital and Employee Benefits Consultants. Within this role you will be expected to support the end to end cycle of placement for small business accounts. This Intermediate support level position requires someone who has strong time management skills, is detail oriented with work product and outputs via Microsoft excel.
Document insurance coverages for core lines of business in an excel based template, gathering plan specific details from various sources to aggregate this information
Initiate internal strategy meetings with North American Service team, establishing a connected and proactive relationship with team members
Interact with external carrier/vendor parties to secure quotations/proposals and tracks down missing information not provided
Completes side-by-side comparison from quotations/proposals from carriers, paying careful attention to carrier specific language and provisions
Secures post-placement documentation and initiates the collection and check of these documents for clients
Ability to review own and others work product to quickly identify data errors
Researches and provides updates and escalation for client (internal and external) requests. Works with appropriate team members in gaining resolution. Refers complex, unusual problems to team leaders.
Set up of new clients in formatted templates, with ability to identify out of scope support issues
Role Requisites:
Candidates with a prior experience in document coverages for insurance processes (Employee benefits ; preferred)
Working on quotes; rates; working on placement & post placement documentation
Interaction with internal & external vendors for procuring insurance quotations & proposals
Experience of working for global markets
Skills and knowledge
Ability to filter large amounts of information to identify provisions found in insurance contracts
Basic finance and or accounting knowledge is a plus, specifically concepts around premium and volume figures
Ability to identify and communicate macro themes in data and process issues
Strong critical thinking capabilities and the willingness to apply skills proactively
Ability to quickly transfer learning into practice
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Possesses a desire to ask questions in order deliver better work product
Strong communication skills with very strong English speaking skills
Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of positions within the organization
Team player with ability to work as a group and independently
Strong excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas
