Assistant Manager - Electrical

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparation of the specifications for HT/LT breakers, Transformers, Diesel generator sets, Cooling Towers and clean room lighting.
To prepare and ensure availability of working drawings for any activity performed at site.
Preparation of Equipment installation drawings and to ensure the installation of the equipments as per the same.
To review and approve the drawing issued by vendor.
To carry out periodic inspections to the vendors site to check for the progress of the manufacturing of the equipment.
Designing and implementation of SOPs, SOIs, guidelines and PMPs for electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
Job scheduling and monitoring of smooth functioning of all operations pertaining to electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
Execution of Validation related activities.
Training of personnel in their related areas and evaluating their performance from time to time.
Implementation of energy conservation procedures.
Implementation of systems in energy conservation.
Designing electrical systems for new projects.
Shift operation scheduling pertaining to electrical maintenance and executing them.
Project planning and execution of new projects.
Spare planning and inventory control. Ensure the safety of personnel in the premises.
Lessoning with Government agencies like TNEB etc. Breakdown maintenance of process equipments like vial washing, filling, capping and packing machine in sterile injectable facility, tablet compression machine, coating machine, capsule filling machine, bulk packing line, blister packing machine etc.
Maintenance of pumps and utility lines.
Preventive maintenance of all process equipments as per schedule.
Ensuring the smooth operation of all related equipments.
Ensure the safety precautions are taken by self and other employees in the team.
Attending to maintenance job request or breakdown job request.
Ensuring correct and concurrent documentation.
Co-ordinating with cross functional team for shift activities
