Role and Responsibilities

Develops Sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed the annual sales objectives for the region. Monitor and control the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region
Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase business in the region
Provide dealers in the Region with information about new or improved products and services in order to improve business in the Region.
Develop and maintain an efficient network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company's products and services across the Region to achieve or exceed the business targets
Establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures relating to the Region are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish the sales targets
Develop the necessary Regional Sales Management organization structure and ensure the right calibre of staffing and appropriate training to meet all job requirements.
Provide leadership so that staff are well motivated and engaged to stay and contribute effectively to the organization

Relationship

Has an intimate knowledge of distributor business model and financial insights.
Develop effective working relationship with distributors and key trade partners.
Develop a close working relationship with Area Sales Managers, RMs to better understand their markets.

Understanding of Dealer Channel / Banking/NBFC operations environment
Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work across functional boundaries
Analytical skills and planning ability
Strong Communication & Negotiating skills

Job Complexities


Align the capabilities of Company's sales force and the capabilities of our channel partners.
Motivate dealers to invest the resources and develop the capabilities required for Business success
Play a strong advisory role to the distributors (DSA) and guide them on key tools.
