Inventory and Purchase Accounting
Under the management of the Controller, will be part of a team of 3-4 people and responsible for all inventory accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities include:
Valuation of inventory periodically within the specified deadlines, including verifying and accurate reporting
Delivering management reports including commenting on P&L and balance sheet movements
Complete and accurate closure of audits, e.g. statutory audit, internal audit
Develop a deep understanding of the business drivers behind purchasing, inventory planning, and valuation.
Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger and analyzing variances
Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory and accounts payable
Manage stakeholders within and outside, and provide all inventory related details within agreed timelines
Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of ERP and constantly seek to optimize processes
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Chartered accountant with minimum 3.5 years of experience.
Assistant Manager: 3.5+ years of post-qualification accounting experience
Salary Range : Up to 14 k fixed
An understanding of IGAAP/IndAS in relation to inventory
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience of Big4/industry in manufacturing, trading and e-commerce companies
Experience with handling large data
Goal oriented with excellent teamwork skills
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
Ability to build successful relationships with many different stakeholders.
